Thankful Thursday

Now don't get the wrong idea. I might not do this every week. I'll try but I can not make any promises. I got to massage my friend last night. We try to work on each other once a week. I absolutely love it! It doesn't matter who is the therapist and who is the client. We both come out of it feeling grounded and better overall. I am very blessed to have her in my life and that we are able to learn from each other. Two of my lil chicks got to go hang out with their Mema for a couple of hour today while I had a client. She is such a patient and kind woman. I really appreciate her.
Now that the day is starting to close, I look around my house. I have happy kids. Well, one of them is sleeping and the other two are watching Pinocchio. And then I start to see how much there is for me to do. I'm sure in the fall when school starts again, I will be able to get our house in order. As for now, I will remember that I have happy kids that are taken care of. They don't care that there is a stack of papers on the table or dishes in the sink...and on the counter...and the oven... I did my yoga and I'll be going for a walk with my friend tonight since it is not raining. Hope I didn't just jinx it. And the only thing we have going on tomorrow is staying home and relaxing! I'll be able to get quite a bit accomplished.

Only Day Two....

OH MY GOSH!!!! It is only day two of summer break. Well, we took Elsa to school and then remembered that she needs her lunch made. So we hurried home, made her lunch and then took it back to her. Anna and Spiderman are getting on each others nerves. They can't even be within 5 feet of each other. It is going to be a long summer... I'm going to step up the yoga, meditation and walking. I'm really excited for some upcoming things. I am meeting up with a friend and we are going to create some slides for doTERRA Facebook classes. Covering some extra shifts at work. The girls have the senior recital coming up. We have had some set backs with getting our business started, but we will keep moving forward. We are so close to getting it up and running! Once we get over 25 likes on our Facebook page, we can create our own Facebook link address. Then I can add it to our business cards so we can get those printed and start passing them out. Busy Month

I can't believe it! May came and went so quickly! We were kept busy with dance practices and recitals, family reunion, end of school year stuff and getting my sweethearts business going. Now that Summer Break is here for one of the kids, I won't be in the car nearly as much so I will have more time to actually blog and keep up to date. So my oldest is out of school for the summer. My middle girl is now on her summer schedule. She gets to go to school for three weeks and then is off for two weeks. I am looking forward to the fall. All three of my kids will be in school. Four days are full and then one half day. I'm pretty excited! Until that time comes, I will be getting my tushy into gear! For breakfast I had a couple of egg whites, a scramble of zucchini, onion, turkey and tomato. I also had strawberry raspberry tea, straight from England!!! Thanks Jess!!! I cut up some cucumber and put it in water last night. It tastes so good and is so hydrating! A good change from plain ol' water.

25 Pounds to Lose Starts Here

For breakfast I had a "leftover scramble" and a cup of mango passion fruit tea. Yum! When I say "leftover scramble" I really mean, "let's clean out the fridge and throw it in the pan". I found quite a few veggies that were on their way to our chicken food bowl. Yes, we have a bowl of food that the kids don't finish that we give to our chickens. They love it! I also found some chicken that had been grilled. So it is made up of green, red and yellow peppers, onion, zucchini, sweet potato, tomato and chicken. I put it on a whole wheat tortilla. After the first bite, I got a fork and ate only my scramble. I was trying to use up the tortillas cause we only had a few left. Oh well. I'm sure the kids will finish them.

Back to Reality

Why haven't I been posting lately? Oh cause we went to a family reunion. It was a lot of fun! I did pretty good on my eating. I allowed myself to have a couple of treats and then my body reminded me why I don't eat that stuff anymore. Like one night I have 3 chocolate chip cookies my sister-in-law made. Yeah I had heartburn pretty bad. Milk chocolate for some reason has done that to me ever since my first pregnancy. So now that we have been home for a few days and are settling back into reality, I can get back on track and move onto my next 25 lbs. to lose. Oooo!! When we got back from the reunion I weighed myself. I maintained!!! No gain and no loss!!! Pretty dang happy and proud about that.

Breakfast

I'm getting pretty good at eating breakfast. Today I had 2 egg whites, an apple and a scramble of turkey bacon, zucchini, green pepper, onion, garlic and tomato. So delicious! As for my tea, I had black cherry herbal earlier and now I'm having peach black. Warms the soul...

Cuppatea

I have really grown fond of drinking tea. I've noticed that when I don't miss a single "tea time", my body just works a lot smoother.
There are so many benefits to drinking tea but the ones that are big for me are my moods are elevated, I don't get constipated or get hemorrhoids (I know, TMI. But it's true.), and my body is just flushing toxins out like crazy! Every time I tell my sweet English friend that I am going to have a cup of tea, I always think of Eliza Dolittle in "My Fair Lady".

Stuck? Discouraged?

So lately when I have done my work-outs, my body feels stuck. Not literally, but it does. Like something is holding me back from doing the full movement. As I was walking this morning I got to thinking about it. I think I need to reevaluate my goals. I have some pretty big goals I want to accomplish, but I didn't really set any small, short-term goals. I think that got my body discouraged. I don't feel discouraged, but on a sub-conscious level, I think I am. Does that even make sense? If not, it makes sense to me. :) So I am going to come up with some new goals and report back tonight. Stay tuned!

New Adventure

My darling sweetheart has started a new adventure. Well, I say he has cause I haven't learned how to help him yet. But I am so excited for him! We are getting his online store set up, Facebook page up, business name registered... We have a lot more that we need to do but we are getting there. Luckily he already has his ebay store set up and people can purchase through there. If I have peaked your curiosity, check out our Facebook page Domi Dog Signs.

1 Down, 3 to Go...

I am a quarter of the way to my overall weight loss goal!! I am so excited!! I currently have a small goal of losing 6 pounds in 2 weeks. One week has passed. So I have 6 pounds in 1 week now. Ha! We will see if I am able to do this. If not, no biggie. I am on a constant journey. I have an amazing support system and I have come a long way already. I am proud of what I have accomplished so far. I am down 2 pant sizes! My pain from my Fibromyalgia is under control. I am feeling so good about myself and love myself so much. Somedays it is weird to think about how much I really didn't like myself. I am a pretty awesome person and I am so beautiful! Awhile ago, I started looking at myself in the mirror and telling myself that I am beautiful and that I love myself. I really didn't believe it at the time. Now that I actually BELIEVE it, life is so amazing! I am so much happier.

90 Days of Owning Life

So it has been 90 days of owning my life. So yesterday on day 95, we took pictures and measurements. This is comparing day 60 to day 90. I knew there wasn't going to be too much of a difference, but there is some. I didn't work as hard these last 30 days. But just wait for day 120! There is going to be bigger changes!

Owning It!!

If you have been following me, you will notice that some posts are gone..... No worries, they have been made private or deleted. There were some people in my life that were dragging me down and so I needed to cut them out. It is interesting. My anger for one person in particular was starting to manifest physically. I started getting the chills, a migraine and a fever. I felt sick to my stomach. Once I did the deed of cutting this person out, my fever broke and my chills started to lessen. Since my neck got all tense from the migraine, I still have a minor headache and my jaw is sore from being clenched. Other than that, I feel amazing!
Today I have been listening to Choosing2Change. I seriously LOVE that podcast! It was the kick in my pants that I needed! I have come so far already and I am not stopping on this journey now. I still have a ways to go.

Reward!

I think that when my husband or I take all three kids to the store, BY OURSELVES, we deserve an award, medal or recognition of some kind. It is hard thing to do. It is mentally and physically exhausting. When we are all together as a family, I don't mind the looks that people give us. We really do probably look like a 3-ring circus. But when it is just me with all three..... I get drained and cranky. Luckily, Spider-man is ok with staying in the cart. Anna is usually good about holding onto the side. But you have to remind her because if she has Gray Cat, then he wants to climb and explore things. Elsa normally sits in the cart until it is full and then will walk. But she likes to hold hands and not carts normally. So shopping is filled with reminding people to hold the cart, get Gray Cat off of something or don't get him stuck in something. Yes, I understand that there are plenty out there that have life so much worse than this. But at this very moment in time, I feel like I deserve a reward because we all survived!

Water Beads

At NUAP, they have water beads that the kids play with. They are squishy, wet and lots of fun! Great for sensory play! Well, my friend ordered some for me. Yay for friends that have Amazon Prime and get free shipping! They come in a little bag and are tiny beads. I put a couple of teaspoons in our angel food pan.... I need to do the dishes...... and added water! Probably about 1 liter. Ad then you let it sit. And sit. And sit a bit longer. Well, you let them sit for about 6-8 hours. I let them sit over night. This is what I started with and what I woke up to.
Spider-man LOVES THEM!!!!! Cant wait for Elsa and Anna to come home from school so they can play with them also!

Breakfast. Most Important Meal of the Day.

Since I started making healthier choices, I have also started eating breakfast. That was something I stopped doing when I started high school. I just couldn't eat at 5 in the morning. I wasn't hungry. Sometimes when I did, it would make me sick. I am past that now! And boy am I glad! Breakfast can be so delicious!! My favorite is making a simple omelet. I like putting my "filling" on the outside. I started out with the basic peppers, onion and cheese. Now I have been using leftover dinner. Like my omelet today has chicken, onion, tomato, zucchini and yellow squash. All of which were grilled in previous dinners, except the tomatoes. Those were fresh. I've also learned that I love to make my meals colorful! My kids love to point out the colors on their plates. I also started drinking tea. I got an electric tea kettle which I absolutely LOVE!!!! Right now all I have is herbal teas, but I'm going to pick up some green tea next time we are at the store. Today's flavor is blueberry. It is pretty good. My favorite so far is peach. Tea has some pretty awesome health benefits but is also good to get that extra water in!

Autism Acceptance

So every year on April 2nd, everyone wants to light it up blue! Autism Awareness! Whoo! Wait..... Aren't we aware of it, like, EVERYDAY?? My kids don't have Autism ONLY April 2nd. I don't want to make this a huge post just because of how disgusted and sick I feel. I never really supported Autism Speaks and I was never really against it. After talking to a friend and doing some of my own research, I am DEFINITELY against them! Just a few things before I close this. The "red flags" that they say may indicate your child is at risk, don't read into them too much. Yeah some of them are true, but others are completely false. A lot of children, and adults, with Autism can make eye contact. They do smile and have joyful expressions. They aren't robots. No babbling? Seriously??? One last thing. Autism Speaks supports the Judge Rotenberg Center. It looks like a wonderful Special Needs school, on the outside. It is absolutely terrible and sickening! They openly use torture and electro-shock on their students. This is what a past resident had to say. And this is from a former teacher. You can even Google Andre McCollins. I am done.
I am extremely grateful for my Autistic children and friends. I am so thankful for the support that we have received. My children will never be a burden on us!

Spring Break Day 2

Today's activities were a HUGE hit!!!!
Our first activity was a Dot to Dot car , counting to 20. Spiderman, of course, needed help connecting the dots and counting but the girls were able to do it on their own.
Necxt we made paper plate chicks. The kids LOVED this one!!!! They loved using the glue and playing with the feathers!

Spring Break Day 1

So the girls have Spring Break this week and we are not going to watch tv and movies the entire time... Just some of the time.
Our first activity was SHAVING CREAM!!!! They love playing with shaving cream especially when I add food coloring!
Our second activity was coloring pictures from the movie The Lorax. The dvd we have of it is crap, but they still love that movie!

Update!

So it has been almost a week since my last post. Here are a few highlights! The girls have Spring Break this WHOLE week. I am going to start following the DDP Yoga Program instead of randomly picking which work-out to do. I am so excited to see how I change physically and mentally! Along with that, I will be doing a daily post saying what exercises I did. I am seriously so excited about this!!! I'm going to get it typed up so I can mark on it instead of in my booklet.

Below The Belt

Tonight I did a new work-out called Below the Belt.... Holy Mother!!!! It works your butt and legs mostly, but also your core. Such a good work-out! First one where I was actually dripping sweat! I am getting better at engaging my muscles and getting my heart rate up. In other news, I am working to get my Facebook page together. I've also been thinking of doing a video blog on Youtube. So definitely more to come!

Glorious Food!

When I work on the weekends, I don't really have a break to sit down and eat breakfast or lunch. My breakfast gets replaced by doTERRA's Trim Shake. Today I added strawberry and bananas.... SO GOOD!!!!
And for quick snacking between sessions, my darling husband put together a sweet little platter for me. Celery, apples, strawberries and grapes. He didn't even forget our natural peanut butter! Luckiest girl in the world to have a sweetheart that supports me as I am on the road to being healthy.

60 Days! BANG!!!

So it has been 60 days. Well, more like 63. I put off taking pictures cause I didn't want to see the results that didn't happen. Of course we are our own worst critics. I showed the pictures to my therapist friend and she started pointing out my changes. Sometimes it is good to get an outsiders opinion. I have changed quite a bit actually.
-My shoulders are rolled back
-My pelvis isn't anteriorly tilted like it was
-Definite flexibility changes
-Growth in balance
-Definite toning
So the changes that I see now are more structural, which is GREAT! I am going to work hard to our 90 pics!

Twizzler Challenge

Remember the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS last year? Well, yesterday I heard of the Twizzler Challenge that people are doing for Autism.
As a mother of 3 Autistic children, instead of doing this challenge, please donate your Twizzler money to the Northern Utah Autism Program. It runs off a grant from the state. The only things that grant covers is salaries for the teachers, aides and rent for the classrooms. All classroom supplies are donated, mostly by parents. The majority of the families in the program are low income and don't have funds to get supplies. So if you get nominated, or are feeling generous, :) please consider donating to the Northern Utah Autism Program.
You can get to their website here or their Paypal is nuapfundraisers@gmail.com

Choosing2Change

This is an A-MAZ-ING podcast! It has helped me release some things I had been holding onto. Not just emotionally, but physically. Nolan gives it to you raw and real. If you aren't able to get podcasts, definitely check out the website here! I have really enjoyed the interviews that he has done and truly looked forward to future podcasts!

Taking a Leisurely Stroll....

I couldn't do my walk this morning so I did it tonight. On my last round around the block, I saw a couple of fellow walkers.

Snack Time

In the morning while my loyal followers are getting ready for school, I put something similar to this together. It makes having a snack so much easier and less tempting. I do the same thing with some veggies we have. Makes my life just a little easier.....

Warm Weather

I have been very thankful for the fabulous weather we have been having. I like to take my buddy, Spiderman, on our morning walks. And he likes to bring his buddy, Puppy, along.
Today was my first time doing Stand Up.... HOLY COW!!!! I couldn't stand up! Well, I could but I kept falling over. But I am so excited to do it again on Friday. It will be great working on my balance and making me more aware.

Dinner At Work

In between doing massages is a great time to eat a quite snack or dinner. Tonight I brought carrots, celery, ranch and peanut butter. I was really excited about the peanut butter! We got it at Winco in the bin section. It comes out of this machine that grinds the peanuts right there infront of you. IT WAS SO COOL!!! And so delicious! Didn't have the added oil, salt and sugar. Can't wait to get more!

Workin' Out

I LOVE MY SURGE!!! Seriously! I love being able to look down and see that I have a great resting heart rate, that my rate is rising while I'm working out, or that I need to stop stressing out.

Birthday Weekend!

I have the amazing pleasure to share my birthday with one of my most favorite lil' gals! But the weekend started with her first loose tooth and getting some new molars.
The tooth still hasn't fallen out. I haven't worked up the courage to pull it out.
We seem to take pictures like this every year.... Better keep up the tradition.
We had fun weekend. Some family came in from Colorado, dinner at Red Robin, I worked Sunday morning, presents, family picnic, trains and Antelope Island. It was a very busy weekend.
One of her presents was a ukelele from her Mema. As she would say, "I lub it!"

Broken Table

Today's is brought to you by the letters DDP, the number 12 and the pose Broken Table. This is a great pose to help strengthen your legs, arms, back and hugely, the glutes. It gets even more intense when you start doing crunches. Do this pose to both sides. Don't forget to engage your muscles to get the most out of your work-out! Bang!

My New Shoes

So I figured it was time to get new walking shoes since my Nike pair was starting to cause me some pain. I've only had these a couple days, but I love them... for the time being! Once in awhile you can find a nice pair of shoes at Wal-mart. One day I want to go get my feet analyzed and get the "perfect" pair of shoes for my feet.

Me Being Vulnerable

Here is my yoga pose for the day. Stand Split. I am excited to see me progress with this pose.
I was about to not post this, but sometimes it is ok to be vulnerable.
Our little Spiderman enjoys doing yoga with me. One day we will have yoga mats.

Almost 60 Days

In 12 days we will have been doing DDP Yoga for 60 days. Honestly, I don't think I am going to see much of a difference between my 30 and 60 day pictures. These last 30 days have been.... Well, let's be honest here. I have plain out been lazy. For my walking, I probably won't get my 100 miles by my birthday. And that is ok. But I have 7 days to get as many as I can. I will still be proud of myself. Troy got me some new shoes today that aren't high on my ankles. I think that will really help with the Achille's Tendon pain I've been having. So, here is to doing better! Cheers!

Silent Auction Night!

Since all of our kids are Autistic, we are very fortunate that they have been able to attend the Northern Utah Autism Program. It is such an amazing program. It is run off of a grant from the state. That grant mostly pays for teacher and staff salaries and the rent for our classrooms. Other than that we are dependent on donations. As parents we get a list each week of supplies that the class needs. Most of the time it is food for breakfast, snack time and paper goods. Unfortunately, alot of the familes are low income and dont have funds to help out with the weekly lists. It then goes back to the class going without and hurting our kids. We try to reach out to grocery stores to donate gift cards for the program to use, but that doesn't always go through. Each year we have a silent auction. After paying for the food, entertainment and whatever else, we normally make a couple grand. It is very helpful! It helps buy ipads, ipad cases, compression vests and so much more that our special kids need. This past Christmas I had the amazing opprotunity to be in charge of getting shoes for the kids. The teachers got to read The Elves and the Shoemaker. The teachers then walked the kids around the school to look for elves and ended up back in the classroom with a present for each kid. To see the happiness on their little faces, it was hard to hold back the tears. They were so excited to put on the new pair of socks and their new shoes. SO EXCITED! I love going to the school and seeing their new shoes still being worn so proudly. I am so looking forward to doing it again this year. If you are ever needing a cause to donate to, or just want to help out 30 special Autistic kids, here is the link. Click on Fundrisers to see upcoming fundraisers and for a link to the paypal account to make a donation.

Errands and Distractions

We had to run a few errands this morning after taking sisters to school. I'm so glad I had Spider-man by my side!
While we were on our walk we found a new friend. Super friendly girl! Luckily my neighbor was able to bring me one of our leashes, cause Animal Control was short-handed today and wouldn't be able to get out for a while.
After we got the harness and leash on her, we walked home and jumped in the car to head to the animal shelter. I personally don't like taking strays to the shelter, but she didn't have a collar. I already made up my mind if they didn't find a micro-chip, I would take her home and we would try to find her home on our own. Don't want to run the chance of her being put down. The sweet girl wanted to sit by Spider-man in the car.
Luckily she had a micro-chip! Yay! They said her name is Maurie or something similar to that. Her family lives pretty close to us but no one answered the phone. They went ahead and took her to hold on to her til her owners can collect her. I'm going to call later tonight or in the morning to check on her.

More Salad!!!

A few days I ran out of my salads... :(  So I made some more today! Yay! Makes me very happy! I need to go to the store. I want to make a different kind of salad just to give me variety. But I don't know what. I am pretty happy with this south-western salad I got going on. Any ideas? I love having my dressing and toppings all measured out. Makes me feel in control of my meal.

Uptown Funk

Uptown Funk can be a catchy and motivating song. I like walking to it. Great beat! I saw this clip last month... Check it out then keep reading...
After I watched it, I knew I wanted to try and do this. It would be such a great an work-out. Plus, it would be fun! Well, today I finally did it! I'm nowhere near what they can do, but when they do their sit-ups, I can do that while keeping my legs straight! In the past, I would of had to roll to my side and push myself up. I'm definitely going to keep trying to do this!

New Discoveries

Last night I worked and I discovered a couple of things. First off, when I use to massage, I would get winded. My cardio was so out of shape! All thanks to DDP Yoga, my cardio is in better shape then ever! And it can only get better from here! Also, I noticed I started to sweat a little. (Not the nasty kind of sweat.) I was thinking of my stance trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong with my body to where I was having to work harder. Nope. My stance was great. Want to know what it was? My body was engaging muscles that I don't normally engage. My core was engaged. My back. My legs. Everything was engaged! It was my own mini work-out while I was helping someone relax and feel better. It was AWE-SOME!!!! LOVE DDP YOGA!!!! www.ddpyoga.com

Tracking My Nutrition

I have found a new love with My Fitness Pal. I have really been enjoying entering my food to count calories. It links up to Map My Fitness and it tracks my exercises and how many calories I have burned. It has been a little hard trying to reach my calorie goal. I normally am under by a few hundred. I started back to work yesterday. Everyone was happy to see me and it was nice to meet the new therapists. I started my day with a couple of new clients but ended the day with one of my regular clients. Love my regulars! They make me happy! It makes me feel really good that they all waited for me to return. I have my work cut out for me. Get my clients back to where they were and better. I am feeling really tired today. It feels like I didn't get enough sleep. My Spider-man won't let me lay down. He wants me to watch a movie with him. Maybe I will close my eyes while we cuddle on the couch... That sounds delightful!

Spinach Meatballs

So since Troy found out he is pre-diabetic, has high cholesterol and some other issues, we have done a huge turn around on our diet. We don't drink soda anymore. Just water. We are eating diabetic friendly mostly. Tonight we made spinach meatballs. They sounded so deliecious! So excited to make them. So I went to work this morning for the first time in a month and a half. It went so great! Got home and got to work on the meatballs. Troy even helped me. When we put the first few meatballs in the boiling water, they started to fall apart. So that was the first thing wrong. Turned the temp down and moved on. After you cook them in the water you transfer them to a tomato sauce that we made. Well, they started to fall apart in the sauce. We tried frying them a little in olive oil. Started falling apart. We let them cook longer in the boiling water and they were finally starting to stay together. Then we get to the eating part. The was absolutely no flavor! Anna enjoyed them because she likes spinach. We decided this recipe isn't a keeper. But it was fun to try yet frustrating to make!

So Done With Breaks

Remember all the salads in jars I made? I am loving them!!!
I am so tired of taking a "break" due to my Achilles' tendon. I haven't been sleeping well or just overall feeling well.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

Getting Back

I took a couple days off walking since my Achilles tendon was pretty sore. It is a little tender still, but not as bad. So Spiderman and I are having breakfast and then going to go for a walk before we have to get the girls from school. I decided that I am going to save up for a Surge Fitbit. I am pretty excited about all it does. Tracks my heart rate, counts calories, counts steps and so much more! Really excited!

Reflection

I've really been enjoying my daily walk. A time to reflect on how things are going. I'm just over a quarter of the way to my goal of 100 miles by my 30th birthday!
No stinking 30-60 mph winds are going to stop me! DDP Yoga for today will be Energy and Red Hot Core! Bang!

Results

As I was on my walk I was thinking about what I'm doing and my goals. 100 miles by my 30th birthday and DDP Yoga. Honestly I have never FULLY completed a fitness (or any other) goal before. I would get excited, start, not see results and quit. What's different this time? For starters, I'm doing the DDP Yoga with my sweetheart. What is more motivating than working out with the one you love? Second, I'm seeing results. I can't even begin to say how excited I am about this fact! Third, I am feeling so much love for myself. I actually want to take care of myself. I'll be the first to admit that I really didn't like myself for a very long time. But times are changing! I'm changing and I'm loving it!

Oh Sweetness!

So last night we were going to try a meatloaf recipe. Well, the meat never thawed. So it was put off til tonight. So good!!! Even the kids are it up! Even Spiderman had 3 helpings!

This is our sweet Pit Bull Domi. She is the sweetest thing ever! Well, Anna got mad at Domi for sniffing her blanket and hit Domi's head. Not cool! Anna had to spend some time in time-out. She then had to go give Domi a hug and say sorry. But as you know, actions speak louder than words. Anna put her blanket and Teddy with Domi. I guess Anna really learned her lesson!

Dishonest....

I don't really care for people that aren't honest. Even if it is something little. Why can't we just be honest in everything we do and say? I was so excited when Troy told me he got me a watch that is a heart rate monitor and also counts calories. Well this is what I received today. Troy received one just like it yesterday....
This is what the eBay description was for both of them...
Notice the box didn't say anything about counting calories? Yeah bummed me out!! Oh well, got my meat thawing for our meatloaf and going to get my work-outs done.

30 Day Pictures!!!!

We finally got our pictures taken! So excited and proud of us!!!

I Hereby Declare Today..,..

Today is No Excuse Thursday!!! It starts out with my daily exercises. DDP Yoga we did Wake Up and Fat Burner.
What I did today for No Excuse Thursday is I made salads!! My mom told me about these little cups at Wal-mart (paper goods aisle). I love them! I have used them to make my kids sugar-free jello and pudding cups. But today I used them for chipotle ranch dressing, pico de gallo, cheese and garlic crispy pepper onions. I made 12 salads.
In the salads I put (in order) carrots, green pepper, celery, tomato, chicken and stuffed them full of spinach. I prefer spinach to lettuce. Now they are all ready for me to grab and toss together. Great so Troy can grab them for work if he wants.
What are you doing for No Excuse Thursday?
